“We’re here to message the truths of our artists and protect their outlooks on life. We only sign one or two things per year, and I don’t think that will change. We’re a place that nurtures rather than forces anything intended for commercial success.”
That approach has driven the label’s continued success since 2013. David Dann architected a platform to naturally foster artistic development, and it ignited the careers of ZHU, Gallant, THEY., and more. Among many milestones, ZHU’s “Faded” notched the label’s first 2014 GRAMMY® Award nod in the category of “Best Dance Recording” and Gallant’s 2016 full-length debut album Ology earned a nomination for “Best Urban Contemporary Album,” while the alternative rock maverick and acclaimed Dutch-Norwegian band Klangstof turned heads at Coachella 2017 plus much international touring.
